My other main hobby is using a Cricut. One of the best explanations of what a Cricut is and what it does can be found on this website – CLICK HERE.
I first got a Cricut to help Jeni with paper craft projects. She wanted to make rooms and/or buildings using designs for miniature scenes out of cardstock and other weights of paper, but at the time they all were cut using scissors or craft knives. Very difficult to do. But, the Cricut is computer controlled knife and did the cuts expertly. That was project number one.
I soon expanded my “hobby” and now have three Cricut machines, an Explorer, a Maker, and a Joy. I have a variety of heat presses and several other accessories. It’s not only that they cut a variety of materials, it has included a software package called Design Space that allows a person to be very creative when designing and producing products.
Rather than try to explain all of what I have been working on here, I will create other pages or posts to demonstrate what I am doing to “stay out of the bars”, so to speak.
